By accessing or using FamIQ Calendar™ ("FamIQ," "the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Definitions
- "FamIQ" refers to the company and platform providing the family calendar service
- "FamIQ Calendar" refers to our web and mobile applications
- "User" refers to any individual accessing or using the Service
- "Family" refers to a group of users sharing a calendar
- "Content" refers to all data, text, images, and other materials created or uploaded by users
2. Eligibility
To create an account and use FamIQ Calendar, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old to create an account independently
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
Children (Ages 13-17)
Users between 13 and 17 years old may use FamIQ Calendar only with verifiable parental or guardian consent. The parent or guardian must create the account and add the minor as a family member.

Free Trial
New users receive a 30-day free trial of the Pro tier:
- Valid payment method required to start trial
- You will not be charged during the 30-day trial period
- After 30 days, your subscription automatically converts to Pro (£4.99/month) unless cancelled
- Cancel anytime before day 30 to avoid charges
- One free trial per email address
Refund Policy
✅ Fair Refund Terms:
- During Trial: Cancel anytime with no charge
- First Paid Month: Full refund within 7 days of first charge
- After First Month: No refunds for partial months
- Service Outages: Prorated refund for outages lasting 24+ hours

5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use FamIQ Calendar for any of the following:

- Hacking, reverse engineering, or circumventing security measures
- Uploading malware, viruses, or malicious code

- Impersonating other users or entities
- Harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior
- Illegal content or activities
- Spam or unsolicited commercial messages
- Excessive API calls or resource abuse
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Accuracy or reliability of data
- Compatibility with all devices or browsers
- Prevention of data loss or corruption
- Specific uptime percentages
